The mighty iPhone

I was reading this OCLC application, and could not help wondering what is next for mobile computing and the library.

However, I just started a new contract with a “sub-iPhone” – ya know, the kind that was cutting edge technology maybe, say, 6 months ago – with the keyboard texting pull out feature.  The iPhone is a technological marvel and if it weren’t so expensive (particularly for the unlimited Web option), I’d be busy doing mash-ups and all kinds of neat things.

I would also now have an excuse for using the camera in an iPhone, and take neat picture of all those different bar-codes.
